Since 2011, she has been working on the promotion of Kazakhstani films for international film festivals and is actively working to build partnerships with film festivals, foreign film funds and major producers in Europe and Asia.

Yuliya Kim presents Kazakhstani films to foreign film funds, film critics and film archives, organizes retrospective shows of Kazakhstani directors and special shows abroad as well as actively attracts major foreign producers to joint projects with Kazakhstan.

Zhanel Sariyeva was born in the city of Almaty. She graduated with honors from the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi with a degree in International Relations. After graduation, she studied at the New York Film Academy based at Universal Studios Hollywood, and at the International Academy of Psychological Sciences. She is the holder of the UNDP scholarship for the Professional Mediators Training Program. Since 2009, she has undergone various internships and training courses at the UN Secretariat under the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, IGI Enterprises LLP (USA), KISTEP (South Korea), PIT (Germany), Transparency International (Lithuania), OTUMK (Russia ), etc.
Zhanel Sariyeva worked as a head of the Niet Charitable Foundation, a full-time coach of the School of Political Management, an international cooperation manager at the National Agency for Technological Development; she is also a life-coach for communications, and a practicing psychologist.
Zhanel Sariyeva co-organized events such as the International Forum «Shape Eurasia 2014» and the Republican contest for the best idea for a social video.
As a creative producer, she produced successful projects such as the film «Offline holiday», as well as documentaries «1000 Years of Almaty», «7 Heights of Almaty», «Winter Universiade in the City of 1000 Colors», «Video Encyclopedia» and «Kazakhstanis are Heroes of the Soviet Union».

Assel Sagatova was born in the city of Semey. In 2003, she distinguished herself on the big screen in the film “The Mother’s Lament for Mankurt”, which was based on the novel of the famous Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov. Along with filming and numerous photoshoots, Assel graduated with honors from the Faculty of International Relations at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and also successfully obtained a master’s degree. She completed an acting course at the New York Film Academy LA, USA. She worked as a TV presenter for a long time.

Timur Zhaksylykov is the winner of honorary awards such as the National Award 2017 for the best screenplay of the feature film “Districts” and The State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the screenplay of the feature film “The Road to Mother”.
