This is a biographical film about Ioannis Kapodistrias (1776-1831) – a brilliant diplomat of the era of the reign of Emperor Alexander 1, the First President of Greece. Being an important figure at the international scale, he prophetically determined the future development of Europe, predicting the current model of the European Union.

Director’s biography

Svetlana Muzichenko was born in Khabarovsk in 1963. She graduated from the Novosibirsk Theater School, later the directing department of VGIK (1998, workshop of A.S. Kochetkov), a member of the Union of Cinematographers since 1999. Since 2003, a teacher at VGIK, he has been working in the workshop of documentary films S.V. Miroshnichenko. Svetlana is a participant and winner of many international film festivals, including Karlovy Vary, Seattle, Tampere.
