Born in 1936 in London, British Director, Producer. After graduating from Eton, one of the most prestigious colleges in the UK, he began his career as a Managing Director of a company producing documentary and TV content.

In 1981, Hudson made his famous film CHARIOTS OF FIRE, which received 4 Oscar Awards (Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Costume Design, Best Music), earned him an Oscar nomination for the Best Director as well as the prestigious BAFTA Award thus entering the list of 100 best British films. Hugh Hudson is also known for the films GREYSTOKE: THE LEGEND OF TARZAN, LORD OF THE APES (1984) and I DREAMED OF AFRICA (2000). He is a nominee and prizes winner at such film festivals as Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Cairo, Cesar, etc.

In addition to a successful film career, Hugh Hudson is equally successful in the advertising business. In 2003, at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, he was awarded a special Cannes Lions prize which is given to directors who won the festival grand prix more than once.




Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. She has been working in the film industry since 1986. Since the beginning of the 2000s, Natalya has been the Head of Horosho Production Producing Company, specializing on the production of feature, documentary and TV projects. She was a producer of Russian film festivals in France (the city of Limoges) and Italy (the island of Sardinia). Natalia Ivanova is the Producer of such films as ONE WAR (2009) and TWO WOMEN (2014) with the participation of Ralph Fiennes dir. Vera Glagoleva, “THE GULF STREAM UNDER THE ICEBERG” (2011) dir. Evgeniy Pashkevich, TELI AND TOLI (2015) and CLAY PIT (2018). Member of the Guild of Producers of the Russian Federation, Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, Vice-president of the Federation of Film Clubs of Russia, Member of the European Film Academy, holder of an honorary diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation “For the Great Contribution to Culture”.





Born in the village of Aralagash (North Kazakhstan region). Graduated from the Petropavlovsk College of Arts, and later the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts GITIS, directing department, acting education. Her debut work in the cinema was the role in TULPAN film (2008 by Sergey Dvortsevoy which won Un Certain Regard main award at Cannes Film Festival, Asian Oscar and more than 40 other awards around the world. In 2018, at the Cannes Film Festival, Samal Yeslyamova received Palme d’Or as the Best Actress, which happened for the first time in the history of the festival, since earlier none of the post-Soviet Union actresses had been awarded this prize. Samal received the award of the Asian Film Academy as “The Best Actress of Asia” and the prize “Best Actress” at the 55th International Film Festival in Antalya. In December 2018 she was awarded the title of “Eminent Culture Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. Yerlan Nurmukhambetov’s film THE HORSE THIEVES. ROADS OF TIME (2019), where Samal Yeslyamova played the major role, will open the Busan International Film Festival.




Antonio Coste Valente was born in 1961 in Avanca, Portugal. He studied theater at ESAP, Porto, multimedia in Santarém and PhD in cinema at the University of Aveiro.

Filmmaker, he produced and co-directed the first feature film of the Portuguese animated film TO THE TOP OF THE WORLD that got several awards at the film festivals in USA and Canada. As a director and producer, Antonio Coste Valente has participated in over a hundred films that have been honored with around four hundred awards at festivals on five continents. He is, among other organizations, Chairman of the FPCC (Portuguese Federation of Film Societies), Cine Clube de Avanca, member of the board of the “Academia Portuguesa de Cinema” (Portuguese Cinema Academy, which awards the Sophia Awards), and national coordinator of “INPUT – International Public Television Conference”.

Antonio Coste Valente is the Director of the AVANCA Film Festival since 1997, and the scientific conference “AVANCA | CINEMA, International Conference Cinema – Art, Technology, Communication” since 2010.

He holds a doctorate in cinema, teaches at the University of Aveiro, UTAD and is the director of the Department of Theater and Cinema of ESAP, Porto.



President of Tokyo International Film Festival


Director of Tokyo International Film Festival. Takeo Hisamatsu joined Shochiku Co., Ltd in 1978, and in 1986 became manager of Shochiku USA’s Little Tokyo Cinema, Los Angeles. He returned to Tokyo in 1989. In 1994, he joined Time Warner Entertainment Japan as General Director of the Theatrical Distribution Department, Warner Bros. Pictures Japan. In 2001, he rejoined Shochiku as Director of the Theatrical Distribution Department, Production and Acquisition, and became an Executive Managing Director in 2003. He was named president of what is now Shochiku Broadcasting Co., Ltd. in 2006, and in 2010 rejoined Warner Entertainment Japan Inc. as Deputy General Manager of Warner Bros. Pictures Japan.

In 2015, Takeo Hisamatsu established his own company, My Way Movies, where he serves as president. Over the past several years, Hisamatsu has participated in the production of such renowned films as UNFORGIVEN (2013, directed by Lee Sang-il), RUROUNI KENSHIN (2012, Keishi Ohtomo), AIR DOLL (2009, Hirokazu Kore-eda), DEAR DOCTOR (2009, Miwa Nishikawa), STILL WALKING (2008, Hirokazu Kore-eda), ALL AROUND US (2008, Ryosuke Hashiguchi) and LOVE AND HONOR (2006, Yoji Yamada).
