Aliya Mendygozhina was born in Kyzylorda. She graduated from T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts majoring in Economics of Film and Television. In 2006, under the program Bolashak, she entered S. Gerasimov All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography for the specialty Film/Television Producer.
For many years, Aliya Mendygozhina worked as a member of the organizing committee of Kazakhstan and Russian international film festivals, director and producer of many films from different genres, including foreign ones.
The successful works of Aliya Mendygozhina as a film producer include the film Harmony Lessons which won the Silver Bear of the International Berlin Film Festival in 2013, the Prizes of film festivals in Switzerland, Seattle, New York and Slovakia and more than 20 international awards; the box-office hit of Kazakhstan in 2013 He&She; the film The Road to Mother which won many international awards; the film The Gentle Indifference of the World which took part in the Un Certain Regard competition of the 71 Cannes Film Festival in 2018; the popular film Districts in 2016 and many others.
Creative producer, professional mediator, business coach
Zhanel Sariyeva was born in Almaty. She graduated with honors from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University majoring in International Relations. After graduation, she studied at the New York Film Academy based on Universal Studios Hollywood, and at the International Academy of Psychological Sciences. She is a holder of the UNDP grant for the program of training of professional mediators. Since 2009, she has completed a variety of internships and training courses at the UN Secretariat under the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, IGI Enterprises LLP (USA), KISTEP (South Korea), PIT (Germany), Transparency International (Lithuania), OTUMK (Russia) etc.
Zhanel Sariyeva has worked as the head of the Niyet Charitable Foundation, the full-time coach of the School of Political Management of the Nur Otan Party, the international cooperation manager in the National Agency for Technological Development, and she is a communication life coach and a practicing psychologist, too.
Zhanel Sariyeva was the co-organizer of events such as the International Forum Shape Eurasia 2014, the Republican Contest for the best idea for a social video. Her successful projects that she had as a creative producer and ideologist include documentary films such as 1000 Years of Almaty, 7 Heights of Almaty, Winter Universiade in the City of 1000 Colors, Video Encyclopedia and Kazakhstanis – Heroes of the Soviet Union.
Film actor, director, producer
Maxim Akbarov was born in Almaty. He got a degree in Journalism, in a department of TV/Radio, Journalism and PR. He completed an internship at the New York Film Academy along with several other young Kazakhstani filmmakers. In 2016, he got a Master’s degree in Management at the Turan University.
Maxim Akbarov is a creative manager on television; he is engaged in the organization and production of motion pictures, social films, the production and development of the Kazakh cinematography.
He is the chief editor of program services for special projects and the host of TV channels. In the studio KAZAKHFILM, he worked as a PR and Art Director.
He films advertising, socially significant projects, music videos and television programs successfully combining work in film making as a film actor and producer.
Since 2015, he has been a member of the Nur Otan Party.
